Developmental Psychology MSc
The primary aim of this MSc is to provide you with an advanced knowledge of the methods, analytical techniques, theories and major findings in a range of important sub areas of developmental psychology.
You will study five modules- four compulsory and one with options. Examples of option modules are developmental disorders, and infant development. These are delivered through a variety of teaching methods, including: lectures, interactive discussion sessions, direct practical experience of modelling developmental phenomena, and gathering, analysing and presenting developmental data. You will finish with a research dissertation in which you develop your ideas in the context of one to one supervision with a member of the developmental psychology team.
The course is aimed at graduates who wish to progress to a PhD in developmental psychology and seek to boost their research skills en route to clinical or educational psychology training.
