Associate Company Celebrates Award
A NW company, IT Farm, who has been working with InfoLab21 throught the ISIS programme, has won the British Chamber of Commerce's North West Award in Customer Service Excellence.
Danny Walker, Operations Director, said of the win, "We are delighted to receive the Chamber of Commerce award, as it reflects our team's dedication to improving our service levels and the effectiveness of our cloud technology.
"We dedicate a large part of this award to our customers for their regular feedback, which is vital in helping us continuously improve service, thereby making sure we provide what they need at the right time and the right price."
Clive Memmott, Chief Executive of the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, said, "Despite challenging economic conditions, IT Farm has shown how businesses can excel through innovation, hard work and determination to succeed at the highest level."
IT Farm will be competing against the other regional winners in the British Chamber of Commerce National Business Awards later this year.
The national winners will be announced at a ceremony at London's Hurlingham Club on November 25th 2010.

First Science and Technology Business Partnerships and Enterprise Annual Report 2011-2012 available to download now
2011-2012 saw the development of a new theme-based strategy for Business Partnerships and Enterprise in Science and Technology. The seven interdisciplinary themes are: Advanced Manufacturing, Energy, Environment, Health and Human Development, Information and Communication Technologies, Quantum Technology and Security. Each theme has dedicated professional staff to work with businesses and source the expertise they need.

The concept of a new university website, complete with mobile application, to capture the campus social scene at a glance, earned an enterprising student an iPad.
