MP Speaker At Blackpool & Fylde Cluster Group
Joan Humble MP Chatting to Blackpool & Fylde Cluster Members
On the 23rd of March the Blackpool & Fylde New Media Entrepreneurs Cluster was held at The Solaris Centre, Blackpool.
The key speaker was local MP Joan Humble who spoke about the specific problems of encouraging women into the IT profession and, significantly, the issues related to the super casino from a House of Commons perspective.
Other speakers included Janet Entwistle and Kate Gardner, from Gardner Consulting, who discussed the related complexities of intellectual property and copyright protection with regards to digital industry related products.
Vicky Sumner from Barclays presented an overview of their multi-faceted software package for business support.
