InfoLab21 Prepares For Innovation Exchange
Overviews of some of the projects to be featured at InfoLb21's next Technology Matters Event - The Innovation Exchange, on June 14th, are now available.
The Innovation Exchange will showcase research in marketable new technology from the Computing and Communication Systems departments, and the Knowledge Business Centre.
Entrepreneurs and Technology Businesses from accross the region will be invited to come and meet the researchers and discuss the possibilities of collaboration.

How do we find out about cyber criminals?
Security Lancaster and the Department of Mathematics and Statistics held a workshop to form a new collaborative group who will widen the knowledge of cybercrime and start developing innovative approaches to obtaining information on cyber criminals. The workshop included security researchers and statisticians, solicitors specialising in cybercrime, and experts from government agencies.

Scientists at Lancaster, Virginia and Oxford universities have produced a web-based tool that allows anyone living in the UK to see their own 'nitrogen footprint'.
