£10,000 For Entrepreneur of the Year
Technology and Innovation is one of the four categories in the O2 X Entrepreneur of the Year Awards.
Whether it's a product or a service the Technology & Innovation X Award will go to the company that demonstrates how it has introduced technological innovation to change the way we live our lives today.
Other categories are Fashion, Music and Food and Drink. As well as the prize of £10,000 for the overall winner, each category winner will receive business mentoring from an industry figure from their category and a profile within one of this year's media partner publications, Grazia, Music Week, Observer Food Monthly or ShortList.
Businesses from any sector can enter the contest, providing they employ 50 or fewer staff.
Successful bids will be expected to demonstrate strength of leadership and vision, innovation, potential for further growth, proof of a strong brand, and how the business is pushing back the boundaries and exploring new ground.
The deadline for entering this year's awards is 1 September, with interested companies initially asked to apply for the regional contest that is closest to them.
Selected regional winners will be invited to attend the national award ceremony to be held at the O2 Arena in London in October, where the Entrepreneur of the Year will be announced.
