InfoLab21 Becomes An Official Business Link Hub
InfoLab21 is now an official Business Link Information Hub.
People can find out about Business Link and a wide range of services and events for businesses, which include knowledge transfer activities from across the University, via the new information hub in the InfoLab21 reception area.
Business Link is a government funded advice and support service for businesses and one of InfoLab21's Partner organisations.
InfoLab21's Knowledge Business Centre works closely with Business Link to promote InfoLab21 ICT services, placements and training to regional businesses and also to facilitate the Lancashire & Cumbria ICT Clusters.
Khalid Saifullah, Business Link's Relationship Manager for Lancashire, stated;
"We have a strong partnership with InfoLab21, which has a significant presence in the community and we hope to use the hub as an opportunity to raise awareness about Business Link and it's many services."

Engineering students make finals of national start-up business competition
Engineering students Scott Nash, Daniel Richardson and Aaron Aboshio have won the northern heat of the Youth Entrepreneurs Scheme 'Engineering YES' competition for their spin-out renewable energy company Atlantis.
