InfoLab21 Associate Companies Join Forces
Claire Walker of The Baby Maze Ltd and Rachel Gibson of Quay Creative
Two InfoLab21 Associate Companies, Quay Creative and The Baby Maze Ltd, are collaborating to stage their second Baby and Toddler Show at the Platform in Morecambe on Sunday 2nd May 2010 between 10am-3pm.
Both Quay Creative and The Baby Maze Ltd are Lancaster-based and owned and managed by local mums.
Following an introduction by KBC Marketing Executive Amanda Ross, Claire Walker of The Baby Maze Ltd teamed up with Rachel Gibson of Quay Creative to host the first Babymaze Baby and Toddler Show, which took place at Lancaster and Morecambe College in 2009.
Their first event was a great success, bringing together local businesses and services with local families in a friendly relaxed environment. This year's event is set to be bigger, with a larger more prominent venue giving space for additional exhibitors. Exhibition places have now sold out with some companies coming from as far away as Derby to promote their services to local families.
Interest in it has been so great that The Baby Maze Ltd and Quay Creative are already planning the next show which will be held at the Platform in Morecambe on Sunday 7th November 2010. Entry is free.
www.babymaze.co.uk provides an extensive online resource for parents and families with young children in the Morecambe Bay area and was launched by Claire Walker, a Lancaster University graduate, after the birth of her first child.
Quay Creative specialises in business communication, producing cost-effective solutions in print, on the internet and through DVD and video production.
Amanda Ross, Marketing Executive at the Knowledge Business Centre at InfoLab21 said.
"Part of our work at InfoLab21 involves bringing together like-minded companies that can benefit from working with each other. We run regular networking events and encourage our Associate Companies to collaborate for the benefit of each other and the regional economy."
As InfoLab21 Associates Companies, both benefit from online profiles on the highly ranked InfoLab21 website.
