Cumbria Creative Agency Wins Major UK Award
Shortlisted from 350 UK design and marketing companies G1 Creative were finalists in seven of the fourteen categories at the RAR Award in London this April.
Burton-in-Kendal based design and marketing agency G1 Creative won the Best in Professionalism award at The RAR (Recommended Agency Register Awards) held at The Russell Hotel in London on Wednesday 21 April 2010.
The company was aslo shortlisted in Best in Creativity/Innovation, Best in Design, Best in Effectiveness, Best in Client Service, Best in Value for Money and Best in Print Production.
The icing on the cake came at the end of the evening when the Grand Prix Award was announced, this award listed the top 10 companies overall, G1 Creative came joint third.
"Louise and I were clearly delighted to find out back in March that we were Finalists, but to be finalists in seven categories was simply mind-blowing. What makes these awards seriously rewarding is the fact that it is our clients that have put us forward, our clients have rated our services so highly that we have walked away with a great accolade, we are obviously very proud, the hard work over the past five years has really paid off" said MD Gary Lawson.
G1 Creative offer their clients a complete mix of marketing services including branding and logo design, design for print and web design and development. Their client base is also wide and varied, they include NHS Cumbria, The Carers Network Westminster and English Lakes Ice Cream. G1 Creative will also be supporting the Cumbria Tourism Awards in May.
This outstanding achievement proves that not all businesses need to head to city centres to find the best creative designers or the best services. Technology developments over the past five years have meant that working from a small rural office poses no restriction on where highly motivated creative marketing providers can be based.
