Our Research

The Division of Health Research (DHR) exists to conduct high-quality health-related research at Lancaster. In the 2008 Research Assessment Exercise, 95% of the division's research was rated as being of international standing.. More>

Our main areas of research fall into the following areas: Health and Place; Learning Disabilities, Public Health; Mental Health, Science, Technology and Medicine; Clinical Psychology and supportive and end of life care.

The International Observatory on End of Life Care is based in the division.

Online Distance Learning

The Masters by Research in Health Research is available as an online distance learning course.

It has specialist pathways in: Health Research, Disability Studies, Public Health, Intellectual Disabilities and End Of Life Care. More>
