UDI Project Manager
Ruth Hutchison is the UDI Project Manager for Lancaster Medical School. Ruth worked on the project to develop medical education at Lancaster University in its earlier stages, and moved to the CME when it was established following the award of the 50 medical student places in early 2006.

Undergraduate Secretary
Becky Bragg joined the department in April 2007 as the Clinical Anatomy Learning Centre secretary. She has previously worked at the University in the Management School Undergraduate Office. Becky deals with Year 1, Year 2, PBL, Communication Skills and Clinical Skills OSCE administration.

PA to Professor Diggle (CHICAS)
Cathy Thomson is PA to Prof Peter Diggle and joined the Department of Medicine on 1 January 2007. She was previously administrator in the Medical Statistics Unit which was set up by Prof Diggle in April 1995.

Assessment Coordinator
Lisa Dainty joined the department in June 2011. She has previously worked in the Innovation and Enterprise Unit (formerly Independent Studies). Her role is to oversee the organisation of the administration of the written papers and assist with the planning of an assessment system.
Admissions Coordinator
Helena Moore joined the department in June 2009 as Undergraduate Secretary and is now Admissions Coordinator. Her role is to assist the Director of Admissions and deal with admissions enquiries. She also provides secretarial support for the Head of Lancaster Medical School, Professor Anne Garden.
Exams Officer
Andrea Owen joined Lancaster Medical School in January 2012 as Exams Officer. Andrea's role is to plan and implement activities to support best practice authoring and quality assurance for written assessments in undergraduate medicine. She is also studying for a PhD at the University of Manchester, where she was based in her previous role as Academic Coordinator for the Medical Schools Council Assessment Alliance, previously known as the Universities Medical Assessment Partnership. Her research is focused upon design principles in the written assessment of clinical cognition required of undergraduate medical students.
