Alyson is the principal investigator on 'Personality and the Student Experience', investigating associations between a personality style characterised by creativity and extroversion, mood, and academic achievement in a student population (for more information, see Personality and the Student Experience). She is also collaborating with Prof Steven Jones and Dr June Gruber (Yale University) on a study of experiences of inspiration and bipolar disorder.
