Personal Introduction

My research focuses on the life stage effects of cancer in adolescence and young adulthood and is qualitative in approach. The first phase was based on parents' narratives relating to the impact on the family caring for their son or daughter, the second phase was based on interviews with young people on the experience of treatment and the setting of care and the third phase focused on the issues of long term survivorship. The current phase examines palliative and end of life care provision for the age group.
