Personal Introduction

Steve joined Lancaster University as Service Desk Engineer (ISS/SHM) in March 2009, coming from across the Pennines where he worked in First Line IT Support at York University. He graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University in 2005, and joined the IT Dept in a law firm in Kendal shortly afterwards. Trouble with the housing market saw him escape to York, before he was offered the position here.

Steves role at the University includes maintaining and upgrading the Faculty's IT and audio-visual equipment; working closely with both ISS User Services and the Faculty IT Manager on projects within the Faculty. He is also studying to become a Microsoft Certified Professional.
