Senior Research Associate Appointment

Partners: University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust and Lancaster University.

The Associate will be part of the Patient Safety Research Unit team at University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay, under NIHR funding secured by Prof Andrew Smith to develop a series of Cochrane Collaboration Systematic Reviews. The appointee will be based at Lancaster University.

NIHR Clinical Lectureship

Dr Jane Martindale is a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist at the Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust. She was recently awarded a prestigious NIHR Clinical Lectureship to extend her research in the field of ankylosing spondylitis. Jane will be supported by the Hub to undertake a multicentre, long-term outcome study of people newly diagnosed with AS across the North West.
