Christian Fellowship is open to all students from both Lancaster University and the University of Cumbria. We are as diverse as our membership.
Christian Fellowship covers a range of activities aiming to help members study the relevance of Christianity to life today and develop their faith whilst meeting new friends. These include bible study, prayer, worship, drama, guest speakers, socials and many more.
We have weekly meetings every Tuesday in the Chaplaincy Quiet Room and every Thursday at 7:30 pm in the Chaplaincy AFC Chapel.
Our Tuesday evening meetings typically take the form of a single group event. These range from Taizé prayer and meditation, to studies of film in faith, controversial issues and bible passages. Evenings are open to the society to help run and organise. Speak to our Vice President Sarah if you wish to learn more or would like to lead an evening.
Thursday night meetings are even more varied. Most weeks, you will find a mix of songs, group work, and prayer. If you would like to lead a Thursday worship slot or help out in other aspects of the meeting, speak to our Vice President Hannah.
The society is run by an eight member exec: Tom, Hannah, Sarah, Deborah, Ellie, Katie, Ruth and Simon. The exec can be contacted by email on: exec @ lucf.org.uk
