XC Weather

  Unfortunately we can't predict what the weather's going to be like...but at least we admit it, unlike the BBC Weather Centre!
Use as a guide only because it won't correspond with reality anyway.

  Parachute descents are only allowed to be made when the weather conditions are safe and within the British Parachute Association's operating procedure minimums. Keep in mind that the drop zone's primary responsibility is the safety of the jumpers!

 

Wind restrictions

Students (RAPS and AFF): 15 Knots (=17 mph)
Experienced / Tandems: 20 Knots (=23 mph)
