The Executive Committee 2005-2006Job Description: Acts as representative of the Society and it's interests at all meetings of the Students' Union and is responsible to the Student's Union, the History Department and the Society's Membership for the Society as a whole. The Hon. President is responsible for ensuring that all Society Meetings, Lectures, Trips and Social Events are well organised and for ensuring that all Executive Officers are fulfilling their responsibilities to the best of their ability. Secretary: Charlie Curle Job Description: Responsible for the taking of minutes at Executive Committe Meetings, the maintenance of the Society's records, the external correspondence of the Society and the booking of venues. Hon. Treasurer: Georgina Smith Job Description: Responsible for the financial affairs of the society along with Membership details. Hon. Social Secretary: Kayleigh Pardoe Job Description: Responsible for organising the Society's socials and creation/ distribution of the Newsletter. Hon. Internet Officer: Phil Smith Job Description: Responsible for the maintenance of the society's website and to deal with any online correspondence. Hon. Publicity Officer: Lucy Lee Job Description: Responsible for all the publicity of the society. Hon.
