Freshers .... Training is on Mondays at the astroturf pitch at 4pm, and on fridays at a time yet to be arranged. Matches are on Wednesday afternoons. All abilities are welcome and any experience of rugby, league or union, would be sweet.
Due to the explicit content of our previous website, and the liability of Lancaster university, we have undertaken a completely PC policy. This allows us to both enjoy our time at Lancaster whilst benefitting from the enormous sense of well being that our new policy affords. For a good sense of our nights out, it would be best to come and experience the wholesome LURLFC post match sessions, but I shall elucidate our general arrangements.
We start at The Lounge. The Lounge are our sponsors and both provide us with money for kit and an excellent meal after every home match. Whether home or away we start in there to take advantage of the drinks offers they put on on a Wednesday, (£2.00 for a triple vodka and 'chambulls' for £2.50). If we're getting a meal they open up the upstairs for us and we can booze there, but if not, we saunter around downstairs, enjoying the company of the many attractive women. Being a classy place, The Lounge is bound to attract a classy woman, but here at LURLFC, we endorse women of all shapes, sizes and financial backgrounds, regailing all with witty banta and gentlemanly quips. Once we've had our time there its into town to sort out man of the match and then, when the time is ripe, onto the Carlton bus to continue our completely optional boozing session. Tickets for the bus are guaranteed.
