We are Lancaster Medical Society, created and run by medical students for medical students (and pre-meds and those of you interested in Medicine). We run numerous events academically, socially and also dabble in a bit of charity work too, all in an effort to make your 5 years at medical school fly by!

(24/3/12) Radiology Teaching Monday 26th March

Mike Flanagan will be doing one last lost of Radiology teaching for all years befor his retirement next week. It will take place at the RLI Education Centre at 5pm, refreshments will be available after the teaching. It promises to be great revision and a last chance to gain a few pearls of wisdom from a great Radiologist!

4th and 5th Years Required

Projects Abroad is a travel company that will be coming in May to discuss working abroad, and how they help with medical electives. Along with this talk we would like some 4th and 5th years to attend to discuss their electives with the current 3rd years. We are looking for a wide variety of destinations including the UK. If you would be interested in helping out with this please get in contact including your elective destination.

We have been informed of the 4th annual DermSchool for medical students and junior doctors, run by the BAD.This year the event is to be held in Birmingham. Please follow this link to find out more details. It is a great event and will be ideal for those of you considering a career in Dermatology.
