After being at the club for only a year, this remarkable young lady has stepped up to the mark to take the position and honourable role of Captain. With her experience of netball and her unique understanding and take on the game, we are set for a gorgeous year with LUNC. Not only does she possess confidence on the court, but her growth within this club over the past year has been exceptional. She is dependable and there to speak to for whatever you need. However, if you thought Black Beauty was the dark horse, think again. Don't let her shy exterior fool you... beneath that cute, innocent persona is a dark horse... waiting to unleash...! Lauren "GUS" Sutcliffe
After swanning off to the land of Radox for an entire year, Lauren is back for her final year at LUNC as our Vice Captain. Having had this role in a previous year, she is perfect for the job. Although she has missed out on a year of netball goodness, there is no fear or queries that she is not up to the role. She is the ideal partner and match to work with our captain to ensure a great season. Her advice and love for the game boost your confidence and heighten your abilities. Netball aside, Lauren is a talented dancer with a signature move that has spread throughout generations of LUNC. You'll see it soon enough. Additionally, she is exceptionally short and looks EXACTLY like Gus from Cinderella... but that's by-the-by.

Zoe "needs a nickname sharpish" Wren
Zoe Zoe Zoe Wren... to sum this lady up in just a short paragraph seems almost obscene! Her kindness, her organisational skills, her ability to get people to listen and her trustworthy eyes make her the perfect person for the role of Chairlady. To take over the role of the Brownster is a tough one, but we've found just the person! This year has seen the expansion of Zoe, not only as a member of the club, but as a friend to many. Her rise towards the second team last year proved to be a quality decision as she proved why she should be considered one of our top shooters. Her parents come on socials and she is hilarious after a few glug glugs herself. She is reliable, trustworthy, generous, and has so much to offer. She sorts us out with all our kit and uses her Landan tone to get the rabble that is your exec to meetings. She's got a job on her hands, but come on... it's Zoe Wren.

Gemma "Gem/G-Town/Ice gem is ace" Pearson
Well well well... Gemma Pearson... where do we begin? To say this remarkable character has made an impact on LUNC within her first year is definitely a huge understatement. The passion and the conviction that she has pushed onto the members of this club has been phenominal and it can honestly be said that there isn't really an LUNC without her. Her work rate on court also deserves credit as does her abilities. She gives 110% on court, and 1,000,000% off! If her attendance and actions on previous socials is anything to go by, then Gem is sure to make the perfect one half of your social side. This Welsh lass is our very own lady in tartan and she can make you laugh with her stories... ranging from netball antics to "how to give head" and Kenyan cocks and many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many more! Shot of Goldschlager anyone...?

Claire "Clairey/Riddles" Riddlestone
This gorgeous young lady is the other half of your social side, and has the gentle soul to complete your perfect partnership. Her initial shyness is all a cover up for her excessive alcohol drinking ways, yet her calm persona makes you feel at ease. It must be mentioned that she managed to get herself thrown out of the Carleton... important information. Her presence on court is certainly known with her amazing shooting that can blow your mind! This southern beauty is treasured within our first team, as well as within our club. Obviously, if she wasn't part of LUNC she wouldn't socialise with us... but we're glad she did. ;)

Lucy "P-Town/Pazza/Powellface" Powell
This Stoke bird has the organisation and the technical skills to be the perfect Publicity Officer. This beautiful website will be regularly updated with many interesting and exciting things for you all to keep checking up on. She can also write for her life... so beware of the emails! Her effort on court is noted alongside her effort put into the club. Throw anything at her and she'll give it a go... especially if it's fancy dress, or alcohol, or attempting to walk in high heels! She's got a good gob on her and likes to think she's pretty funny. TOUR this year will also be organised by this beaut, the green megaphone WILL make an appearance. If there's anyway of showing the gloriousness of LUNC to the world.. then that's through publicity... bring it on!

Grace "Graceland/Grizzle/Bear/Gracie" Biggins
Oh my, it is basically impossible to find any words to describe this absolute diamond! She actually is the definition of 'one in a million'. Unintentionally, she is hilarious and comes out with the most perfect one liners that she never lives down for her entire life. This is probably due to her being so neutral... a bit like the Swiss. She is dedicated on the court and works hard as the second teams reliable centre. She's prone to breaking her phone, losing things and talking about history. It's hard to say what handing over your money to this little one is going to end up like, but it's a risk you've just got to be willing to make. Good luck ever finding somebody like Grace... it just won't happen.

Victoria "Ferriwinkle/Ferri/Fez" Ferri
Ferriwinkle is the all-saying all-knowing Landaner who will most certainly tell you how it is. Do not fear, as fixtures are in very good hands. She has the ability to make somebody laugh with her facial expressions and her thoughts on things. Her love for LUNC is the same as it is for London and her passion is evident on court. She is also very prone to taking men into toilets on Tour and dropping it like it's hot on the dancefloor. This Italian Goddess makes a habit of hugging people on court alongside her epic ability to jump. A role on the exec. is the perfect progression for Miss. Ferriwinkle.
'HEALTH & SAFETY'...
Rosie "Unders" Underhay
Underhay is one of the many returning to LUNC after a precious year away. She floated off to the unknown land of Texas to take her course to the next level... leaving us all behind. However, she is back in full force as your Health and Safety Officer. Even though her mum is not a nurse, and her dad is hot, she is very well equipt for the job and will look after all your health needs. She is one of the most organised people you'll come across with her blackberry and her diary... so organising Tour will be nothing! We welcome her back with open arms and cannot wait for nighttime antics. Welcome back darlin'.
