Where and when can I join?
How much is membership?
A year's membership to LUTG costs £5
and you must have a valid Purple Card for
insurance purposes.
Where does my dosh go?
Membership fees are used to fund our
shows, workshops and buy equipment. It
may sound like a lot of money for
students, but for the quality and quantity
of shows we put on, we need plenty of
funding - and it's worth it!
What does my membership get me?
LUTG membership entitles you to:
1. Audition and take part in our productions
(as an actor).
2. Take part in any technical and backstage aspects
of our productions.
3. Attend all our socials, including theatre trips.
4. Attend our workshops.
5. Be able to vote in GMs for what shows we put on
and who will be on the executive committee.
6. Be able to nominate yourself to be on the exec.
Who can join Theatre Group?
Anyone with £5 and a Purple Card can join
Theatre Group! You don't have to do Theatre
Studies or be a seasoned theatre pro, we
want anyone who's interested in theatre!
Do I have to audition to
become a member?
No, you don't need to audition to
become a member, you only need to
audition if you want a chance to act in
one of our productions.
