Welcome, young fish

This is the home site of Lancaster University's Ultimate frisbee team. This site may not be up-to date please visit our Facebook page for up-to the minute information Facebook. If you haven't heard of Ultimate before you'll find lots of useful information about our sport in the Ultimate Info section of this site.

We welcome all new players regardless of experience and ability, so don't worry if you've never played before.
Our goals as a team are to increase awareness of our sport within the sporting community and develop individual and team skills through enjoyable and instructive training sessions.

As well as playing Ultimate we also love to socialise whether it's on campus, in town or at a tournament. We have an active social calendar and we try to cater for all tastes with a variety of events such as bar crawls, house parties, film nights and barbeques. If you have any ideas about socials don't be afraid to pass them on to our social sec.

If you can't find us playing Ultimate or at the bar we're probably doing coursework, which as I'm sure you can guess is usually last on the to do list.

Training times

For outdoor sessions you can find us on Rugby Pitch 3 :

  • Wednesdays from 13:45 'til 16:00.
  • Thursdays from 17:30 'til 18:30.
  • Sundays from 13:45 'til 16:00.

Please bring: -

  • Light and Dark top.
  • Football boots.
  • Water.
  • Disc with your name on.
  • Black bin liner to sit on or put your bag in incase it rains.

Indoor sessions are located in the Main Sports Hall in the sports center :

  • Fridays from 9:45 'til 12:00.
  • Saturdays from 15:00 'til 17:00.

Please bring: -

  • Light and Dark top.
  • Non-marking trainers.
  • Water.
  • Disc with your name on.

Remember to eat at least one hour before the start of practice. Digestion and excercise do not mix as some of us have found out.
