One of the project's major aims is to widen the skills base within the spatial humanities and raise awareness of what it has to offer to humanists and others from a wide range of disciplines. To achieve this we are organising and participating in a wide range of events and conferences (see also training courses). • 2013Two days expert meeting on spatial and corpus based approaches to the geographical analysis of literary and historical texts. 8-9th July 2013.

• 2015An expert meeting on using textual sources in spatial history.

• 2015A conference on GIS in the humanities.
