Dr Wendy Beekes Personal Web page

Dr Wendy Beekes graduated from her undergraduate degree B.Sc Econ (HONS) Business Studies with first class honours from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth. She continued her studies for a M.Sc. Econ in Accounting and Finance, and doctorate in Accounting and Finance at the same institution. She was awarded an E.S.R.C. scholarship to complete her Ph.D.  While at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth, Dr. Beekes built up a wide range of lecturing and tutoring experience on the many undergraduate programmes offered by the Business School. In April 2000, she took the post of lecturer in Accounting and Finance at the Lancaster University Management School. Since that date she has lectured and tutored on various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes offered by Lancaster University Management School, and has also been involved in MBA project and PhD supervision.
