Research My main research interests are in the development of spatial and spatio-temporal models in geostatistics. Specific topics of previous and ongoing methodological research include: Spatio-temporal modelling of air pollution Positional error and measurement error in geostatistics Multivariate geostatistical modelling Spatial modelling using kernel convolution Geostatistical design (example animation) Modelling relationships between environmental exposures and human health Studies of agreement and diagnostic error An animation of historical disease epidemics in England appears here. Consulting I am an adviser for the National Institute of Health Research, Research Design Service for the North West. Researchers developing proposals for research funding who require statistical advice may request advice here.
