Welcome to my academic homepage. I am a lecturer in statistics at Lancaster University. I research statistical methods and applications in health and medicine; in particular:
- Pre-clinical and early phase drug development
- Mixture models
- Survival analysis
- Simulation
- Sparse methods in high dimensions
- Epidemiology
I hold an honorary research fellowship at the University of Manchester, and collaborate closely with NIBHI (Northwest Institute for Biohealth Informatics).
I am part of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Statistics (MPS) Research Unit.
I am linked with STOR-i, the statistics and operational research doctoral training centre at Lancaster.
I am the treasurer of RSS Lancashire and East Cumbria Local Group,
and the secretary of the Young Statisticians' Section (YSS) of the RSS.
