Since www.ecofem.org gets 30+ hits per day and is accessible globally and visited by a wide range of people it was decided to take the opportunity to improve the textual depth of the site. Consequently I provide the opportunity to publish here papers related to (or having relevance to) ecofeminism/feminism/ecology. Please send all queries and papers to journal submissions All submissions are expected to conform to the basic standard of good essay writing, with proper referencing and bibliography. Papers are preferably received in Word format as an e-mail attachment. There is no word limit, and short commentaries and book reviews are also welcomed. Writings about ecofeminist pedagogy and course construction are also strongly encouraged. If you would like to volunteer to help/collaborate with/develop this informal journal please send an e-mail here The long term aims of this eJournal are to involve more people and potentially to make it more formalised. Ideally I would hand it over to a group of people and perhaps retain a minor role as one of the review editors.

Paper journals have far too long a turn over between submission and publication. Formal online journals such as Sociological Research Online have a very quick turnover. That is matched here - and it would be a positive development that if in the future this eJournal can develop a comparable degree of quality control and diversity. This is dependent on offers of collaboration and other peoples input.
