London Careers Connect 2013 - Meaningful Networking

This event is an opportunity for graduates to seek advice and support from LUMS’ colleagues and experienced alumni, whether embarking on a new career path or a change of direction.
The focus is on Meaningful Networking: learn how to make the most of networking opportunities and develop professional conversation skills. Alumni who are more established in their careers are very welcome to help fellow alumni by sharing experiences and insights through meaningful networking.

Time: 6.30 - 9.30pm (with CV clinic from 5.30pm)
Venue: The Work Foundation, 21 Palmer Street, London, SW1H 0AD
Programme:
5.30 – 6.30pm CV clinic with Louise Briggs, Head of Careers, Alumni & Employer Relations (limited places, please request a 15 minute appointment as part of your registration for the event).
6.30 – 7.00pm Arrival, registration and refreshments.
7.00 – 7.30pm Welcome and presentations on networking and professional conversations – speakers: Louise Briggs and Fredrik Sandvall (MBA, 2008), Principal Consultant, SBR Consulting.
7.30 – 9.30pm 1 to 1 networking with LUMS alumni: gain tips and insights into a range of professions and industries, from the application process to advancing your career.
CV reviewing with Louise Briggs is available throughout the evening (please indicate your interest in this as part of your registration).
Cost: There is no charge for this event. Refreshments provided.
