There are over 6,500 bedspaces on the main Lancaster University campus at Bailrigg, located within our eight undergraduate and one postgraduate colleges. Each college represents a smaller community within the wider University, and you can find out about each by visiting their websites. You will also find that the accommodation on offer varies from college to college, and this may influence which you apply to join.
Incoming Undergraduates for whom Lancaster is their first choice, and who have firmly accepted an offer via UCAS, are guaranteed a place in residence if they apply before 15 August.
Incoming Postgraduates that have firmly accepted, are guaranteed a place if they apply by 1 August (UK&EU) or 15 August (Overseas students).
University accommodation is also available to continuing students, both on campus and at Chancellor's Wharf in the city.
