International Women’s GroupThe International Women's Group meets at The Chaplaincy Centre on Thursday Mornings at 10:30-12:00 noon for the wives and partners of international students. The group aims to provide a place where women can meet and chat and share experiences of living in Lancaster. 15th International Dishes Savoury or sweet - bring something you like to make from your own country.
22nd Want to Work? - Paid or Voluntary Christine Jones, from LUSU, will answer questions about how to get paid employment in Lancaster. Also, information about the many interesting volunteer positions available.

5th Guy Fawkes and Bonfire Night Who was Guy Fawkes and why are there fireworks and bonfires on the 5 th November?
12th Williamson's Park & the Butterfly House Visit Williamson's Park and have a tour round the Butterfly house, mini-beasts and bird enclosure . Cost £3:50 for adults pre-school children free.

19th Coffee Morning at the Croft Mrs Annette Wellings, The Vice Chancellor's wife invites us to a coffee morning at her home.
26th Drawing Workshop at the Ruskin Library Learn about the influence of the philosopher, painter and writer, John Ruskin on British society. Be creative in the drawing workshop. It's free & children very welcome.

3rd Country Focus - Egypt Henan and Mona will give a short presentation about the culture and customs of the land of Egypt.
10th Outing to Barton Grange Garden Centre Visit this huge Garden Centre on A6 with lots of household gifts and a vast selection of outdoor and indoor plants. Christmas decorations are amazing and the coffee shop a must.
