Our accommodation proudly features:

- a collegiate set up that makes it easy to settle in
- great value for money, with rooms from £82 per week
- a safety score of 97 percent
The benefits of living on campus
In total we manage on-campus accommodation for over 6,800 students. Most new undergraduates choose to live on campus in their first year and find the collegiate set up the perfect way to make new friends.
We have won many awards for our accommodation and service. As well as retaining the prestigious title of ‘Best University Halls’ for the third year running in the National Student Housing Survey 2012, we also took prizes for the ‘Best Moving In Experience’ and ‘Best Booking Experience’. The awards for ‘Best Learning Environment’ and ‘Best Individual Accommodation’ were also retained, this time for the Fylde College Residences.
When it comes to student accommodation, Lancaster far exceeds the national average in:
- value for money (70% compared to 54% nationally)
- neighbourhood safety (97% compared to 77% nationally)
- relationship with landlord (78% compared to 57% nationally).
And we also exceeded expectations in communications, recycling facilities, noise levels and local amenities.
Each College has its own Residence Officer which means your accommodation is managed locally by a friendly face you know and can approach with any queries or issues you may have.
