Course Overview

This is a professionally focused programme for graduates who wish to work in the cultural and creative industries. Central to the MA is a 'live' consultancy project that is undertaken with an external organisation (with expenses covered). The taught modules are designed to prepare you to tackle practical problems faced by organisations and, with advice and support from academic staff, to take responsibility for a consultancy based project. The project will help resolve practical issues and problems faced by a client organisation from the creative industries and the cultural and heritage centre.

Typically client involvement is one to two days a week over four months, with lectures scheduled on only one or two days a week to allow flexibility to carry out project work. Students complete four modules, a consultancy project report, and a dissertation.
