Course Overview
This programme is designed to meet the needs of professionals who have responsibilities for language testing and evaluation at institutional, regional or national level. It provides you with a solid grounding in language test design, construction and evaluation, and in research design. This ensures that the testing and evaluation policies you create within your own contexts conform to international standards for validity and reliability.
With a three day orientation seminar to launch the course, a series of 10 week web based modules, and a dissertation, it is ideal for part-time learning. It offers maximum opportunity to base your coursework and dissertation on issues and problems within your own educational contexts.

Key Information
Duration: 24 months part-time, by distance learning
Entry Requirements: A good second class honours degree, or its equivalent. Applicants must normally have three years of teaching experience and/or hold a post with responsibility for language test design, construction and evaluation
IELTS: 6.5 (with at least 6.0 in listening and speaking and at least 6.5 in reading and writing) or equivalent Assessment: Coursework and dissertation
