Course Overview
The management of land, air, water and other resources is a major challenge for the 21st century. This very popular MSc provides you with a critical understanding of how natural resources and the wider environment can be sustainably managed by applying tools and techniques for appraisal, monitoring, protection and restoration.
The course is distinctively multi-disciplinary in its approach and draws on the wide range of environmental expertise in the LEC and more widely in the University.
You can tailor the MSc to your individual needs and interests through your choice of optional modules. The placement option allows you to experience applying your new skills in a real-world situation, which can help start your career. Graduates go on to further study (PhDs) and a wide range of management and professional posts, in the UK and overseas.
