Sustainable Buildings
Sustainability is part of the very fabric of what we do. These buildings show it.
BREEAM is the design and assessment standard for sustainability in construction. To date, nine of our new builds have achieved an ‘outstanding’ rating. And we’re just as committed to ensuring our refurbishments receive the same care and attention.
New Buildings
Can you improve your sports facilities while reducing your environmental impact? Can you build a contemporary arts facility where the creativity isn’t only on the inside? And can you build residences that devour awards, not resources? Discover buildings BREEAM rates as outstanding.

Refurbished Buildings
Our campus is in a constant state of evolution. As older buildings adapt, develop and shift purpose, we bring a contemporary sustainability ethic to every one.
That’s why all our recent refurbishments have achieved a Very Good BREEAM rating.
Sustainable Building Standards
In 2005 we set out a strategy with strict criteria to ensure that any new buildings on campus met the BREEAM Excellent standard and any major refurbishments met BREEAM’s Very Good criteria. In all buildings that have been completed to date we have met those targets.
