The College Office

The College Office is the place to go for the following:

  • to discuss matters of discipline, e.g. noise, theft
  • to discuss problems with residence rooms, toilets or kitchens
  • to apply for a College Loan, Travel Grant, or Scholarship
  • to pay deposits, rents, fines, etc.
  • to make appointments to see the College Officers, such as the Principal, Senior Tutor or Assistant Senior Tutor
  • to discuss any personal problems (in confidence) or seek advice on any matters.

The College Office is in the north-west corner of Bowland Main, overlooking Bowland Avenue, and is run by the College Administrator, Pat Brown. The College Residence Officer, Alison Platt, resides next door to the College Office.

Normally the office will be open from 10:00 to 13:00 and from 14:00 to 16:30.

Enquiries may be telephoned to the office on extension 94506 (direct line outside University - 01524 594506) for collegiate business or 94498 (direct line outside University - 01524 594498) for residence matters. These will be routed to the University message recorder if there is no one in the office or if the staff are busy. A recorded message will be dealt with as soon as possible.
