This weekend meeting aims to discuss recent developments in experimental and theoretical studies of spectroscopic, transport and thermodynamic properties of low-dimensional semiconductor structures and quantum dots. Working program of this meeting, including invited lectures and contributed talks, will fully occupy 30 June (Sat) and 1 July (Sun), with Openning on 29 June (Fri) followed by introductory poster session combined with reception. A preliminary program of this meeting is now available, and the presented below list of participants is updated regularly. Those interested in participation are encouraged to register on-line or to contact the local organiser by 21 May 2001. Post-deadline registration is also possible, for poster presentations only.

Registration fee: full - £30; students - free.
Full-board on-campus accommodation: single room - £72/day; shared room - £50/day.
Travelling by air: The nearest airport is in Manchester, it is connected to Lancaster by a direct train (1h20mins). We shall arrange for a minibus service from/to Manchester Airport, and we ask all overseas participants to provide us with their arrival/departure date, time & flight numbers. Alternative airport is in Liverpool, it is the homebase of EasyJet.
