Entries are arranged primarily by department, then by year of publication and alphabetically by author. Students' names are distinguished by an asterisk (*) and those of non-members of the university by a dagger (†). The practice concerning the abbreviation of titles of periodicals is in line with British Standard 4148, Part I, 1970 and Part 2, 1975.
