In 2019 Graduate College turned 30! Next academic year (2019/2020) we will host several celebrations, we already started by releasing this video with some of our alumni their experiences during their time at Lancaster.
GradFest 2019
After months of planning and preparations, GradFest 2019 was finally upon us. The day started at 2PM with an afternoon of fun for everyone, there were inflatables, mini golf, giant Jenga, free candy floss and much more! At 5PM the next event of the day started, we celebrated the 30th year of Graduate College, the announcement of the new college motto and received some extra information about the new logo. The new motto is: Curiositas lumina nostra via (Curiosity lights our way), and the logo will consist of both an owl and a rose. We have chosen an owl as it represents wisdom and knowledge, which fits well with our postgraduate community. The rose stands for the connection with the university and Lancashire. Finally, the day ended with a giant party, full of music and fun.
