This appears to be an underside view of a single flower of Tormentil (Potentilla erecta (L.) Rauschel; Rose family – Rosaceae): see caption to RF 1280 for details. Visible in the drawing are the four golden petals, the four large, pointed green sepals of the calyx, alternating with the petals and the four smaller, green, pointed sepals of the epicalyx, coinciding with the petals.
