John Riddy's Praeterita is a series of photographs suggested by the autobiography of John Ruskin. The exhibition toured in 2000 as part of the programme of events which marked the centenary of Ruskin's death. |
| The Ruskin School of Drawing (now Oxford University's Department of Fine Art), was established by Ruskin at the University of Oxford in the 1870's to provide a training for the hand and eye that would also shape the mind. The School commissioned John Riddy to produce a new body of work about the spaces and objects which helped its founder make sense of the world around him |
