VISITING THE RUSKIN LIBRARY

The Ruskin Library is situated on the campus of Lancaster University, just south of the city of Lancaster. It is easily reached by bus or car - the bus stop and car parking are both close to the Ruskin Library; taxis are available at the station for those travelling by rail, and there is also a cyclepath/footpath from the centre of Lancaster. A map of campus is available here.

PARKING

Pay and display parking is available at several locations on campus: tickets cost £2 for 2 hours, or £5 for a day. In term time, parking can be difficult; if you cannot find a space go to Security/Reception (also signposted) who will be able to help you.

The nearest blue-badge parking spaces are located on Bowland Avenue

BUSES

The University is served by the numbers 2, 3 and 4 services from Lancaster city centre, and number X1 from the railway station. All services stop in the Underpass, which is about a 5 minute walk from the Ruskin Library.

TAXIS

Taxis are available from Lancaster's train and bus stations, and normally drop passengers off either at Security/Reception or in the Underpass.
