Sean is working on his PhD developing efficient algorithms for multivariate changepoint detection. Sean is based within STOR-i and is funded by Tesco.

Euan is working on on his PhD developing models for nonstationary time series. Euan is based within STOR-i and is funded by the Numerical Algorithms Group (NAG).

David is working on his PhD developing seizure detection methods for absence epilepsy. His work is funded by the ESRC North West Doctoral Training Centre and is supported by the NHS.

Ben Norwood (started October 2015)

Ben is working on his PhD developing seasonal changepoint methods. His work is funded by the ESRC North West Doctoral Training Centre and is joint with the Office for National Statistics.

Jamie-Leigh is working on her PhD developing novel changepoint methods. She is based within STOR-i and partially funded by the Office for National Statistics and Big Insights, University of Oslo.

David Ireland (June 2017 - August 2017)

David completed a summer internship in the group funded by the London Mathematical Society. David extended previous work of the group to Oceanographic data.




Alix Pic

Alix Hutt (June 2017 - September 2017)

Alix completed a summer internship in the group funded by an Impact grant. Alix ported the changepoint R package to Python.




Ann Pic

Ann Kretzschmar (October 2016 - June 2017)

Ann was a PDRA in the group funded by a feasibility project from the EPSRC Maths Foresees network. Ann adapted some work from the group to forecast nonstationary river levels.




Ben Pic

Ben Pickering (October 2012 - February 2016)

Ben completed his PhD in the group and was funded through the STOR-i centre for doctoral training and Shell Research. He thesis was entitled "Changepoint Detection for Acoustic Sensing Signals". Ben now works for Dunhumby based in Manchester. https://www.uk.linkedin.com/in/benjamin-pickering
