The STOR-i Centre for Doctoral Training is based at Lancaster University and is run between the departments of Mathematics and Statistics and Management Science. The programme is funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC), Industrial Partners and Lancaster University. The programme is four years in length and more details of the programme can be found below.
MRes Course (First Year)
The MRes course runs in the first year of the programme and aims to set solid foundations across the areas of Statistics and OR allowing students to explore thriving research in these areas.
MRes students also take part in the Problem Solving Days, Masterclasses and Workshops.
PhD Years (Years Two-Four)
The remaining three years with STOR-i are working on your PhD, but you will continue to develop key skills in Statistics and OR through STOR-i workshops, Problem Solving Days and Masterclasses.
