Membership is open to all members of Lancaster University, its associated colleges and environs. For £1 a year (you also need to buy a student societies card before joining ULMS), you will be entitled to perform in our non-auditioning ensembles, audition for our auditioning ensembles, apply to conduct a group, stand for a committee position, and take advantage of reduced concert prices. A socials card is also available at a cost of £9. As a member, you will receive at least one ULMS newsletter per term containing information about the society. Information will also be displayed on our noticeboards: we have one in the Music Department and one in the Jack Hylton Room.

ULMS and all its ensembles is open to all musicians, not just people studying music.
