Rehearsals
Swing Group rehearses every Wednesday afternoon from 16:30 to 18:30 in
the Jack Hylton Music Room. Swing Group contains saxophones, clarinets
and a rhythm section. They consist of approximately 25 members and
play a variety of swing music.

Auditions
Swing Group is a non-auditioning ensemble which provides extended
playing opportunities for musicians who enjoy this type of music, as
there are limited places in the auditioned Big Band. Swing Group was
established in October 2004 and after enjoying their first two
concerts in February 2005, the ensemble is going from strength to
strength.
