2012
The 2012 Intellectual Party was the biggest and best that the Sociology Department has hosted to date. The conference included around 80 presentations from students that crossed all manner of disciplinary boundaries and who came from across the UK, Europe and beyond. It also provided the opportunity for students to engage with many of the Department's key thinkers.
The conference officially ended with the inaugural enactment of Ready Steady Theory and there was still time for some of us to visit the beautiful Lake District (rain, walk, rain, lunch, rain, local ale, rain).
