Funded PhD Opportunities

Lancaster University is pleased to offer a number of studentships for PhD students. These awards will ensure that outstanding candidates have access to Lancaster's high-quality research training and facilities, and experienced research-active supervisors. At Lancaster, postgraduate research funding is available across our four faculties and cross-disciplinary Doctoral Training Centres.

  • Lancaster Master's Scholarship

    Lancaster University will offer a generous scholarship to Master's students who are liable for Home tuition fees.

  • Alumni Loyalty Scholarship

    10% off fees for all Taught Master's degrees if you are a Lancaster graduate.

  • Lancaster Global Scholarship - Master's

    Lancaster University will offer a generous scholarship to applicants with a first-class degree who are liable for International tuition fees.

  • Management School Master's Scholarship

    Lancaster University will offer a generous scholarship to Business Master's students who are liable for International tuition fees.

  • Lancaster Sanctuary Scholarship

    A scholarship for students who are refugees or have humanitarian protection, with support and resources to help them integrate into our community here at Lancaster.

  • Lancaster Opportunity Fund

    Master’s Scholarship for Black British students. This scholarship will provide a full fee waiver and stipend of £18,000, for living costs, to support a high-achieving Black student to progress to PGT study.

  • Management School MBA Scholarship

    For students studying the full time Lancaster MBA programme.

  • Faculty Scholarships

    We offer a range of scholarships awarded directly through our faculties and departments.
