You likely won’t need it, but our graduates have access to life-long career support. So no matter where you are in your career, or if you’re looking for a change, our experts are here to help. Most of our international graduates are also eligible for the UK’s post study work visa – the Graduate Immigration Route.

Pursuing passion and preparing for the future
Coming from the USA, Emma Page is a professional translator and has published a book-length translation.
“My literary translation career has been successful thanks to my time at Lancaster. Thanks to the placement I did at a translation agency, I was well-prepared to start freelancing as soon as I graduated. I used one of the translations I completed for my final MA project as a sample to send to publishers, and I signed a contract to translate the whole book. Having a published book-length translation is a life-long dream of mine, so this is really exciting!”
