Welcome!
This website provides details about my educational and professional background, my research interests, my teaching responsibilities and my administrative duties, both internal and external. Please either scroll down or use the menu to navigate my website.
Research
My research interests lie in the area of communication theory and include the modelling, analysis, performance evaluation and design of communication systems. My focus has been on coding schemes for multiple-antenna systems and cooperative networks. Currently, my focus is on random linear coding over finite fields for ultra-reliable, low-delay communications.
Teaching
In 2022-2023, I am involved in the teaching of the following modules:
- SCC.110: Software Development (BSc Computer Science and BSc Software Engineering)
- SCC.460: Data Science Fundamentals (MSc Data Science and MSc Health Data Science)
Service
As part of my departmental duties in 2022-2023, I fulfil the following roles:
- Postgraduate Teaching Director
- Postgraduate Examinations Officer
Interested in pursuing a PhD?
If you share my research interests and you are thinking of applying for PhD studies, provided that you can secure your own funding, read about the application process and feel free to contact me.
Office Location
Directions to Lancaster University can be found here , while a detailed map of the campus can be downloaded from here .
My office is in Room B43 at InfoLab21, which is located in the south-east part of the campus and houses the School of Computing and Communications (building no.62 on the campus map).
